there is a reason the telescreen was in the forefront of 1984 -- the mandatory telescreen is similar to the mandatory Direct TV that section 8 people have to have here in philly....

the first time i saw the 'low income housing' popping up all over philly I noticed how they all has satellite dishes popping out of each unit....

TV is paramount... Nothing sickens me more about the sheeple I meet in person than their TV addiction. Their ability, or inability to operate in reality... combined with their desire to sit in front of a tube for 4 hours at a time...

the biggest thing tv does is program the social behaviors of the cattle...

particularly the break up of the family and human relationships....

my favorite is the old man and woman fighting with each other for no reason plot in tv shows and movies......


you have to ask - what posses one to sit and watch the tube when reality is right in front of them everywhere... simply an escape into fantasy-land is what it is. Humans love their fantasy land.

The lack the ability to realize that the TV was created by other mortal humans, just like them - except much more intelligent.

They seem to lack the understanding that they are watching a 'show' -- even if it's the "news"... its just flickering lights and sounds.....

but to them it's god.
